Hajir Khata

Hajir Khata is a production HR and payroll platform with 40+ organisations and more than 2,025 active users on it, sold into hospitality, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, education and financial services.

The problem it solves is the gap between how attendance is actually captured and how payroll gets calculated. Most of these organisations were reconciling a paper register, a biometric device export and a spreadsheet by hand every month. Hajir Khata closes that loop: fingerprint and face devices sync straight into the platform, field staff clock in from a mobile app with location capture, and that attendance data flows directly into salary components, overtime, allowances and tax without a manual export step.

Around that core sit the workflows an HR team needs to actually run the month — leave requests, approvals, allocations and substitute cover; advance, proposed and overtime claims from submission through review; announcements and events; and device and geofence management for teams split across offices and sites.

Access is split by audience rather than bolted on: administrators get the operational dashboard and payroll controls, while employees get a separate self-service surface for their own attendance, leave and payslips. Roles and permissions are granular across modules, and every organisation gets its own tenant with independent settings, so one deployment serves all of them without their data touching.
